We show the IT12 input screen below and you will see that it consists of 3 panels on a very similar basis to the Client Master.
The left panel is a list of clients and you will see that some client codes are an orange colour. The orange means that this particular client for the year in question which indicates that the record has not been created. When the tax return is created, not necessarily submitted the orange code will disappear.
There are various methods of searching which we have discussed under client master. The method here will be the same.
